Rev. Keith Joseph serves as the Senior Pastor of East Village Community Church, where he is committed to preaching the uncompromised Word of God, serving the community, and leading people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Pastor Keith’s journey has been shaped by both life experiences and the transforming power of God’s grace. After moving to California, he experienced a season of struggle and searching while living outside of God’s will. Through that difficult chapter, God began to work on his heart, leading him to surrender his life fully to Christ and answer the call to ministry.

Pastor Keith’s testimony is a reminder that God can take a broken path and turn it into a purpose-filled journey. His passion is to reach those who feel lost, forgotten, or far from God and to share the hope, forgiveness, and restoration found through Jesus Christ.

In 2019, Pastor Keith accepted the call to serve as Senior Pastor of East Village Community Church. Shortly after beginning his pastoral leadership, the world faced the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. During a season when many churches were forced to close their doors, Pastor Keith and the East Village Community Church family remained committed to the mission of the Gospel, faithfully providing online worship services for more than two years and continuing to encourage people through a time of uncertainty.

Pastor Keith believes the church is called not only to gather but also to serve, love, and impact the community around it. His heart is to build a church where people can experience God’s love, discover their purpose, and grow in faith.

He is married to his wife, LaTonya Joseph, and together they continue to serve God and His people. Pastor Keith’s greatest desire is to serve the Lord with every fiber of his being and dedicate his life to winning souls for Jesus Christ.

His life verse is simple: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…” — Romans 1:16
